I had the best stay at Homewood Suites Downtown. The staff was amazing, and the venue was clean and cozy. I loved being able to walk around. We were close enough to everything walk to dinner. On the other hand, I was able to cook my ramen in the convenient kitchenette. Being located in beautiful downtown was the highlight of our trip. It was a mother/son getaway that we will not soon forget.

I booked a corner suite and we stayed on the 22nd floor. Great views of the city! The room was essentially a studio apartment, so it was a bit small. It had a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, counter-top stove, microwave, toaster, and everything you need to prepare a full meal. I discovered the coffee maker was broken when trying to use it. This seems to be a theme with Hilton hotels. Leaving broken appliances in the rooms for guests to frustrate over. There was a half drank bottle of water between the bed and nightstand, not ours, housekeeping missed it between prior cleanings. Not that big of a deal. It could have been worse, like left over food. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly. Breakfast was included with our stay. Parking could not have been easier as the garage is the first 3 floors of the hotel. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and are planning a trip back (with the kids next time).

I will stay at this hotel any time I'm in Chicago. The rooms are clean, the gym is really nice especially with having the Peltons, and the breakfast was fantastic. Anette is one of the employees at Homewood and she was wonderful. She made sure the breakfast was stocked and was kind to every table. In every aspect, a good experience! I will be back soon!

Enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and clean. A bit farther from the museums and such but for a great price worth a slighlty longer commute.

Check-in was prompt and efficient. Elevator from the ground floor entrance goes up through three parking decks, to the fourth floor lobby. Then you take another set of elevators up to the rooms. Really a beautiful hotel inside and out. Super clean. Quiet. And if you are lucky, you’ll get a slice of a good view. Comparable rates. Business person and family friendly. Great neighborhood. Great location. Great included breakfast. I can say nothing bad about the hotel, staff, amenities or location. I would highly recommend without hesitation.

I was very frustrated on 2 accounts: I wanted to book in the hotel as my family/friends. I called the same number but was told only suites were available. I only wanted a single room. Turns out there are 2 hotels attached together but they don't communicate... I asked to have a room near everyone in our party, but was told they were not booked. I knew they were. Second: the parking deck in a PUBLIC deck and if you have the car out when it fills up you have to park 4-6 blocks away and pay those fees to get your car out even though you also paid a hotel nightly fee of $53!

The carpet in our suite was wet enough to soak our socks. There was not adequate bedding for the pullout sofa. Otherwise, the room was clean and the hot breakfast was a time saver.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff, and easy access to olglvie transportation center. They even stored our luggage as a hotel courtesy for a day out on the town. Definitely recommend.
